Changemaker of the Week: Taylor Guitars and West Coast Arborists

I think music lovers, especially guitar players, will love this story.

What if your next guitar didn’t come from the rainforest, but from a tree that was unwanted or had to be removed from a city street for safety reasons?

Taylor Guitars and Gryphon Stringed Instruments are now creating beautiful guitars using wood from trees that were scheduled for removal in urban areas across California. These trees are not cut down just for timber, they’re removed because they are old, damaged, or pose a public hazard.
