In the Netherlands, a nursing home called Humanitas in Deventer is doing something amazing: they offer free housing to college students—in exchange for spending 30 hours a month with elderly residents.🧓

 

That time could be spent chatting, sharing a meal, helping with small tasks, or simply being present. The result? Less loneliness for the elderly, affordable housing for students, and meaningful friendships that bridge generations. 🌈
